Looking Forward To The Badger Spartan Matchup

I sure am looking forward to watching the Badger Basketball game on ESPN 2 tonight. It would be impossible for me to express how happy I am that the game is not on the F***ING Big Ten Network. I know I have discussed this before but the amount or irritation that network causes me is indescribable. At least once the NCAA Tournament starts it will be on CBS in HD the way it should be. GO BUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gophers Go Home with tails between legs

It was business as usual Saturday for the Badgers, as a balanced attack and free-throw shooting once again propelled the team to a victory.
Five players scored in double figures and UW made more free throws than its opponent as the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team earned a 65-56 win at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers are positioning themselves to make a run for the Big Ten Title but we must all remember that when March comes around it is all about then NCAA Tourney. I hope they can peak at the right time to go far into tournament. GO BUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!

Another Border Battle

Coming off a dramatic win at Indiana Wednesday night, the men’s basketball team returns home to host Minnesota at the Kohl Center on Feb. 16. Saturday’s game will tip off at 1 p.m. CT and will be shown live on the Big Ten Network as well as broadcast on affiliates of the Badger Radio Network.
The Badgers are 20-4 overall and 10-2 in the Big Ten, currently sitting in second place. The Gophers are 15-8 overall and 5-6 in the league. UM leads the all-time series 97-87, but the Badgers beat the Gophers at Williams Arena back on Feb. 3 and have won 12 of the last 13 meetings.
On a side note let me revisit a small fact that I mentioned earlier, that the game will be shown on the Big Ten Network. I HATE THAT I CAN'T WATCH THE GAME AT HOME BECAUSE I HAVE TIME WARNER CABLE AND I LIVE IN GREEN BAY MOTHERFUCKING WISCONSIN. Excuse me if some of you are offended but it irratates me so that I feel like going ballistic. I already pay almost $100 per month for HD Digital cable. I don't care if you have to charge me more money just get it on cable. I'm sure that is enough of a rant for everyone involved. GO BUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flowers Leadership will make or break the rest of the season.

When much-heralded Indiana freshman Eric Gordon came into the Kohl Center earlier this season, it was Mike Flowers who drew the assignment. Thanks to his energy, Flowers shut Gordon down for most of the game. Coming off a rare conference home loss with another date with Indiana coming up, he’ll need to bring it again.
“Well, he’s always going to have the energy,” Badger coach Bo Ryan said in his Monday press conference. “He always brings that.”
I hope his energy is at a high level to get Bucky back on the right track since we all know that tournament time is right around the corner. GO BUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
