Fifth-year senior safeties Shane Carter and Aubrey Pleasant have been suspended indefinitely from the University of Wisconsin football team, coach Bret Bielema said Saturday.
Bielema didn't elaborate on what led to suspensions, although he did say neither player would return to the team before the end of preseason training camp. Carter and Pleasant will be replaced immediately on the team's 105-player training camp roster.
"The part that our guys have really concentrated on, is when we're in camp, the 105 guys that are here, those 105 gotta work," Bielema said. "All I want is the guys that want to be here."
