Badger fans at Camp Randall have been treated to a number of
new additions to the venue's concession menu through the first weeks of the
2013 season. A notable weak point of the complex in the past (though as
recently as the team's home opener in August there were complaints regarding
lines), the expansion of options is an effort to enhance the experience of Camp
Randall say officials. Complimenting the new menus is an increased number of
vendors as well.
Levy Restaurants has been at the helm of the project. The
award-winning stadium vending supplier is in their first year of a new contract
with Wisconsin Athletics, a significant partnership with one of the most
successful entertainment and sports venue food specialists. Levy pioneered the
in-stadium restaurant, now especially popular in major league baseball, and
manages four locations inside the Walt Disney World Resort.
Back in Madison, the company has worked closely with school
and Camp Randall staff to debut four new dishes at the stadium this year. A
bean based chicken salad has proven to be one of the more popular choices thus
far, though the Po Taters Tumble and meat-loaded Bucky's Nachos have suffered
no love-loss either.
For the more daring among us, the last addition to the
concessions menu can satisfy those not content with just their chicken salad.
The daunting Bucky Burger comes on a pretzel bun topped with cheese, pickles,
Bucky's secret sauce, and a whole brat.
Back-by-popular demand features have also been reintroduced
by Levy's at Camp Randall. No salads on this menu.

with nacho sauce, jalapeƱos peppers, salsa, and sour cream on the side.
The Badger Stack

Early Badger Bucket
